BridgeGuru is made by PLYLOGIC LLC. These terms govern your use of the app, however you installed it — from the App Store, from Google Play, or on the web.

If you installed from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and where it conflicts with this page, it wins. Google provides no equivalent standard agreement, so on Google Play and on the web these terms are the whole of it.

Using the app

You must be at least 13 years old to use BridgeGuru. It is not directed at children under 13.

BridgeGuru is licensed to you, not sold. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial play. Please do not copy or resell it, take it apart to extract its contents, use it to cheat in play against other people, or use it in any way the law where you live forbids.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it.

If you choose a nickname, we show it on leaderboards. Please do not use one that is offensive, unlawful or pretends to be someone else; we may change or remove a nickname that does.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Subscriptions

BridgeGuru Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or yearly. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase — to your Apple or Google account, or to your card for a web purchase. It renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.

You can manage or cancel a subscription after purchase: in your Apple or Google account settings for an App Store or Google Play purchase, or, for a web purchase, from Manage subscription on the Account page in the app, which opens our secure billing page. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not shorten the period you have already paid for. Deleting the BridgeGuru app from your device does not cancel a subscription.

Purchases and refunds

App Store and Google Play purchases are sold by Apple or Google, and refund requests for them are handled under that store's policy. Web purchases are sold by PLYLOGIC LLC, with payments processed by Stripe; PLYLOGIC LLC never receives or stores your card details.

Web payments are non-refundable, and we do not refund partial subscription periods, except where the law requires it. If you believe you were charged in error, write to us at [email protected].

Your account

An account is required for Premium. You can delete your account, and everything in it, from inside the app at any time.

Deleting your account cancels a web subscription immediately; payments already made are not refunded. It does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription — cancel that in your Apple or Google account settings as well.

What we do not promise

BridgeGuru is a game and a teaching aid. It is provided as it is: we work to keep it correct and available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its advice will win you any particular deal. To the extent the law allows, PLYLOGIC LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

BridgeGuru explains bids and card plays as well as it can. Some bids and plays have no explanation, and an explanation can occasionally be incorrect. The explanations are a study aid. They are not an official statement of the rules of bridge or of any bidding method.

Some places do not allow those limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits, and nothing here removes a right you have that cannot be removed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any legal action about them must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, except where the law where you live gives you rights that cannot be set aside.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top says when they last changed, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
